NEW Rimmel Nude Collection: Review & Swatches!

I've been a massive fan of Rimmel lipsticks and nail polishes for years now, and every time Kate Moss releases a new collection in collaboration with the brand it doesn't disappoint. This month is no exception, with the introduction of The Nude Collection.
A selection of 5 nude nail polishes, 5 nude lipsticks and a moisturising balm, the collection is designed to provide a flattering option for all skin tones and tastes...

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzers

I've had this bronzer for a couple of weeks now but wanted to really put it to the test before reviewing it. I love, love, love the powders and blushes in this range for their ability to add that 'glow from within' quality to the skin without using heavy shimmers or glitter, so was therefore really overexcited when I heard about the bronzers being released.
First thing's first, these are definitely traditional 'bronzers' rather than a contour powders. They are really quite shimmery, so unsuitable for anything other than adding a glowing, tanned radiance to your complexion. They have the same 'photoluminescent' technology as the Ambient Lighting Powders, so have a gorgeous depth to them (unlike basic shimmers which sit on top of the skin and look really unnatural.)

Wedding Season: How to Make Your Makeup LAST!

Wedding season is upon us! I absolutely love weddings as it's an excuse to dress up and look your best, and since my wedding (almost 2 years ago now!) I just love seeing all the beautiful details that go into different weddings, and obviously everyone's outfits, makeup and hair!
I've collaborated with the Beauty Recommended channel this week to show you three of my favourite up-do's for wedding season. They are all totally fool proof, so perfect if you aren't the best with hair styling but want to change up your look for a special occasion AND what's more... they all take about 5 minutes to do, so are perfect if you want to look polished without spending hours in front of the mirror!

Today I wanted to share a quick pic of my favourite thing that landed on my doorstep this week. Lush have released their ‘Love' soap. If you haven't already tried their classic Love scent, it’s a gorgeous fresh, citrus fragrance with lemongrass, bergamot and Sicilian lemon oil that I've yet to find someone who doesn't like. What's more, this particular soap is not only covered in a generous layer of gold shimmer, but also emblazoned with #GAYISOK and all profits are donated to grassroots LGBT charities across the world... Could it get any more fabulous?!
On a more serious note, now is the perfect time to show your support for the LGBT community, whether you’re part of it or not, and celebrate love for all, all around the world, but especially so for America in the wake of yesterday’s legalisation of same-sex marriage across all 50 states. This little soap is available now online and in Lush shops for £4 but #GAYISOK is here to stay :)

A Colourful Day Out at Ascot!

*Sponsored Post
Last Thursday, my sister and I were invited along to Ladies Day at Royal Ascot with the lovely team at Dove. I've never been to Ascot before, so was really excited for a fun day out with my sister and my first experience of this legendary British event.
Dove invited us along in celebration of their 'invisible dry' deodorant, which has been tested against white marks on over 100 colours, so we both came along in our most colourful dresses to put it to the test! Ascot Ladies Day was the perfect event for it, as it's the most wonderful place for people (and fashion!) watching, with women sporting their most colourful, outlandish outfits (all with matching hats and headpieces, naturally!)
