Tea for your Bath!?

I was so intrigued by the launch of The Body Shop’s new Fuji Green Tea collection. Not only because I love green tea scents (I used to steal my sister’s bottle of the Elizabeth Arden Green Tea perfume all the time when I was younger, so it reminds me of old times!) but also because they’ve done something really cute and unique and released a ‘Bath Tea’ along with the usual line up of lotions, body wash and fragrance.

It’s such a novel idea, the pot basically contains bath salts mixed in with actual green tea…

You pop a scoop into the giant infuser and suspend it in your bath water until the salts have melted. The infuser keeps hold of the tea leaves so it’s not messy, but leaves your bath smelling incredible and infused with real green tea leaves.

I used this for the first time last week and really love it. Something a bit different for your relaxation time! If baths aren’t your thing, they’ve also released a Body Butter, Shower Gel, Body Scrub, Exfoliating Soap, Body Lotion, Body Sorbet and Perfume in the scent. I think Green Tea is quite a love/hate scent so it might not be for everyone, but I love this and would thoroughly recommend checking out the range next time you pass a Body Shop store!

The Bath Tea is £12 for 300g and the infuser is £5. Both are available at The Body Shop now.

What do you think of Green Tea as a scent? Love it or hate it?!
