Something landed on my doorstep last week that really made my beauty senses tingle. Chanel have released a gloss version of their gorgeous Rouge Allure lipsticks and I have to say… they are majorly impressive!
So they should be for the £26 price tag one might argue, but not everything in the Chanel makeup line is worth the wallet set-back. If you’re looking for a gorgeous beauty treat, or even a gift, these are utterly gorgeous…
The packaging is stunning and unique. It’s the same click-open design as the lipsticks, but when housing a gloss, I have to say I’ve never used anything like this before. Beyond the packaging, the product inside is divine too. It’s quite a thick, well pigmented gloss that has a slight stickiness to it. Thanks to that hint of sticky, it lasts for ages (even through eating horaay!) but it still feels really smooth on the lips. It’s not one of those long-wearing lip-stain kind of formulas either, just a great, long-lasting gloss. I’m a big fan and will be sporting these all autumn! The doe foot applicator is great too, it manages to hold just the perfect amount for one application!

The colour range is simply stunning too. There isn’t a single shade I wouldn’t wear, and with 11 shades in total, there will definitely be something for everyone.
