Today I’m really excited to share something a bit special with you all in celebration of International Women’s Day…
This year I’m over the moon to be collaborating with Bobbi Brown for their sixth annual ‘Pretty Powerful’ campaign. Each year they launch a limited edition version of their best-selling Pot Rouge with the full RRP (minus VAT) going straight to charity. The charity in question is Smart Works, a UK-based charity helping to empower women back into the workplace. They work with underprivileged women who have been struggling with long term unemployment, giving them special interview training, helping to dress them for the workplace and boost their self-confidence, giving them the skills they need to succeed in securing work. Last year they trained over 2500 women, and over 50% of them went on the get the job in question, so it’s a brilliant cause.
If you’ve never tried one of the Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge’s before, they really are a brilliant product too. Such a great multi-use staple for your handbag as they can be used as both a blush and lip colour, and the Pretty Powerful shade is a beautiful rose pink that is universally flattering. This year’s Pretty Powerful Pot Rouge is £22 and available at all Bobbi Brown counters, stores and online now.
This year Bobbi Brown have also collaborated with Markus Lupfer to release five limited edition versions of his iconic lips t-shirts as part of the campaign, which is where I come in… I got the chance to pick my own shade of embellishment for the lips, which is available for a limited time on the Markus Lupfer website. I chose the gorgeous silver star sequins and I love it so much! The t shirts are on sale now for £175, with the full RRP (minus VAT) going straight to Smart Works. I’m rocking mine today for a special lunch Bobbi Brown are hosting in celebration of the campaign and International Women’s Day and I LOVE it! You can find my T-Shirt, and the other limited edition designs, here.
Happy International Women’s Day ladies!
