Monica Vinader Riva Collection

As many of you may know, I’m a huge fan of Monica Vinader, and have been for many years… I think it’s one of few jewellery brands that manages to perfectly blend beautiful design and quality, yet still remain accessible on the price front. One of the first pieces I owned from the brand was the classic Riva Kite Ring which Mike bought me a few years ago for Valentine’s day (with a little hinting, I must add… I had had my eyes on it for a while!)

That being one of my favourite designs from the brand, I was really excited when they asked me to collaborate with them this summer for the release of some new additions to the Riva collection. I was lucky enough to borrow the new styles to photograph just in time for my trip to Lake Como in June, and found them so easy to style, both alone, stacked together and mixed with my current Monica Vinader favourites (I basically never take off my rose gold Signature Bangle, so of course, I wore them together!)

Lake Como was the perfect location to shoot the collection, as the designs themselves are inspired by the Italian Riviera (not quite the lakes, but a similar vibe!) and the natural, irregular shapes taken from objects found along the shore.
The new additions to the collection are actually very varied, but amongst my favourites are definitely the rings – they’ve miniaturised the classic diamond kite ring, and also the circle ring. I love these worn alone, but they look great stacked together for a more dramatic look. That’s another thing I love about a lot of the Monica Vinader jewellery – many of the rings are designed with stacking in mind, so work well worn alone, but look beautiful together too. My favourite ring from the new collection is actually the cross ring, which is so simple, yet striking at the same time. All the rings look really cool stacked up and worn on neighbouring fingers too.
They’ve also added a stunning new wave bangle and some daintier bracelet options if bangles aren’t your thing, these have delicate chains connecting tiny diamond set wave and circle shapes (again – love these worn together!)
The collection also has a few other designs which I haven’t worn in this post, including some gorgeous diamond earrings and more delicate pendants, so I would recommend taking a look at the Monica Vinader website to see all of the new additions to the Riva family.
The Monica Vinader team have also been generous enough to offer a 20% discount code to my readers, across the entire website… but if you’ve got your eyes on anything, move fast! It’s only valid for the next 2 days! Enter the code ‘FDF2017’ at checkout (expires at midnight on the 12th August.)
