Go-To Christmas Party Makeup!

Today I’m collaborating with Rimmel to show you my three go-to looks for the festive season. We all have so much to do and so little time at this time of year, so all three of the looks are really quick, easy and created using a capsule selection of my favourite Rimmel products, along with a few of my favourite other beauty products.

Between these three looks, I have all my Christmas party bases covered. All three have been done using my favourite Rimmel foundation, the Match Perfection formula. I love this because it has a great build-able, medium coverage with a natural, fresh finish.
Look One – Vintage Christmas Glamour
This is without a doubt my most worn go-to look when it comes to parties in general, but especially so at Christmas time! It’s a classic combination of flawless skin, fresh looking cheeks, a matte, contoured eye with dramatic winged liner and a classic red lip. I love the Kate Moss lipstick in Idol Red for this look as it’s the perfect classic red, not too orange or blue -toned. I also love to add a little something to this look (and let’s face it, every look!) by adding some of my favourite Becca Champagne Pop highlighter – just what you need to add a little festive glow…

Look Two – Classic Brown Smokey Eye
The second look I love for the Christmas party season is perfect for all festive occasions, daytime or evening. It’s a bit of a different version of the classic black smokey eye, using a combination of the deep matte brown and the medium brown from the Rimmel Magnif’eyes palette in Keep Calm & Wear Gold and the Scandal’Eyes kohl pencil on the waterline and tight line, and smudged through the upper and lower lash lines using a pointed pencil brush. I always like to match a more intense eye look with a nude lip and the Kate Boho Nude is the perfect one for this look.

Look Three – Shimmery Golden Eyes
The third and final look is the most striking of them all, with shimmery, golden eyes using the same ‘Keep Calm & Wear Gold’ palette, but focusing more on the mid-browns as a base, adding the shimmery gold tone on the centre of the eyelid, and building up the deep, matte brown along the upper and lower lash, finished off with the deep berry ‘Retro Red’ lipstick.
