Meet Jess!

I’ve got some exciting news for you today! I’d like to introduce you all to my lovely friend Jess. She’s going to be doing a few guest blogs for me in the future.

There are a lot of fab products out there and as some of you know, I’m lucky enough to get sent lots of beauty bits and pieces to test out for my blog, but some simply aren’t suitable for my skin type, skin tone and/or hair. I’ve got quite a sensitive scalp and dry skin so I thought it would be good to get a different opinion on here for those products that might not be suitable for me, but may well be suitable for some of you!

Jess will be reviewing products that she likes here and there on both my blog and website. She’s new to blogging so make sure you show her some love in the comments! Keep your eyes peeled for her first review, due later this week!

Name: Jess
Age: 24
Skin Type: Combination
Skin Tone: Fairest of Fair!
Hair Colour: Dark Auburn (dyed)
Eye Colour: Blue

What’s in your makeup bag right now?

A pretty eclectic mix! Garnier Miracle Skin Perfecter Tinted Moisturiser, L’Oreal True Match Foundation, L’Oreal Touche Magique Concealer, Bourjois Delice de Poudre Bronzing Powder, No7 Natural Blush, Maybelline Volum’ Colossal Express Mascara, Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner, Bobbi Brown Nude on Nude Eye Palette, MaxFactor Rosewood Lipstick, EOS Sweet Mint Lipbalm. As you can see I like to try anything and everything, although Bobbi Brown and Chanel are my favourite, albeit pricier choice of brands!

Top Beauty Tip?

Everyone has their own individual ‘can’t do without’ beauty tip and products, so its tricky to give a top beauty tip! Products aside, I think exercise (don’t worry, this includes any light exercise!) helps any complexion look invigorated. Also, keeping your hair in good condition helps a lot. A good cut or colour can make such a difference to your overall appearance.  I say all this as I reach for the phone to book myself a hair appointment…
