Eyeko seem to be powering out new shades at the speed of light recently, and I was very excited when these brand new additions arrived on my doorstep this weekend. Although I must admit I’m not one for red nails, so the ‘Saucy Polish’ doesn’t quite float my boat. The dirty grey-blue ‘Rain Polish’ (‘For City Nails’ apparently!) however, is right up my street! From the promo images online I was hoping for a dupe of Chanel’s highly coveted Nouvelle Vague but as you can see from the photos, it’s not similar at all! (sad face)
Having tried (and loved!) Eyeko’s Polishes before, I wasn’t surprised to find it applies smoothly and evenly, two coats giving the perfect finish. These cost £3.50 and are available from the Eyeko Website. If you enter the code E10637 they’ll even pop in a free gift for you! Three days in without one single chip, these polishes are by far the most hard-wearing low-end nail varnishes on the market: perfect for those hands-on girls out there!
Although I remain loyal to Barry M’s fabulous line of Nail Paints, I must admit Eyeko has been giving them a run for their money recently, especially in terms of consistency. What are your thoughts on these new shades?
This week I am giving away a set of these polishes, if you like to be in with a chance of winning them then you must:
1. Be a follower of my blog
2. Enter a comment telling me your personal all time favourite nail polish
3. Don’t forget to leave your email address so I can contact you if you win!
Good Luck everyone!
The winner of the MUA shadows from last week is:
