My Wardrobe: Silk & Suede

This is without a doubt one of my favourite outfits I’ve worn recently. It’s the perfect balance of femininity and edge that I love and happens to be one of the most comfortable combinations too. The silk midi dress is from stylist and upcoming designer Ellie Lines. Being five foot three I’ve shied away from midi skirts and dresses in the past as they can be that awkward ankle-skimming length that rarely looks good, but this dress is the perfect length for me and I adore the print – navy can be hard to wear when you wear a lot of black like I do, so having a combination of navy and black in one print is perfect. You can see her online shop here, it’s quite expensive but beautiful quality. If you’re looking for some budget alternatives, I’ve included them below. The jacket is a pale pink suede from Pinko which I think works perfectly as it’s a biker cut and fabric in a very feminine shade. I paired them with my matte black rockstuds and my favourite Prada sunglasses.
