Fillume

I’ve been a big fan of Indeed Labs for a few years now (their Eyesilix eye cream is still on my list of holy grail skincare products, it’s amazing!) Their products deliver, but don’t have the high end price tag attached to a lot of anti-ageing skincare products on the market… So I was really excited when they asked me to review the latest addition to their lineup, the ‘Fillume’ range.

Designed to combat the first signs of ageing by re-boosting your skins ‘volume’, preventing and reducing ‘sagging’ skin and increasing radiance.  the new range claims to leave your skin looking plumper, firmer and smoother, providing visible results in just 2 hours and being a non-invasive, affordable alternative to botox…

There are two products in the range: a serum and a moisturiser. The packaging, like all of the Indeed Labs line, is sleek and simple. I love the push-up pump on the moisturiser too.

I’ve been using the serum and moisturiser for a couple of weeks now and I really love them both. The serum definitely my favourite (although they do work really nicely together.) It’s quite thick and doesn’t feel greasy at all. It doesn’t overload your skin when layering the two products up and the dinky little tube is portable and practical. It leaves my skin feeling smooth and supple.

The moisturiser works really nicely with the serum or alone, again leaving my skin feeling hydrated and plumped, but not greasy or overloaded. They make for a perfect pre-makeup skincare routine (I usually wait about 5 minutes before applying my makeup) as they don’t leave any greasy residue on the skin. I know a lot of people will be thinking… but surely this can’t make you look like you’ve had Botox?! Well, no (and quite frankly I think that’s a good thing!) but I did notice my skin looking plumped and smoothed. It’s also formulated without mineral oil and parabens, which is brilliant for a mid-price point product. Overall I’m a big fan of this and will definitely be adding it into my regular skincare regime from now on.

The brand have also recommended the use of their Fillume range with practicing ‘Face Yoga’ as a natural, non-invasive alternative to botox and fillers. I’m a huge fan of these kind of techniques as (although I’m a bit young for botox at the moment, at 26) I have always been quite set against invasive anti-ageing treatments on principle. The main principle of Face Yoga is to work each layer of the face to encourage blood flow, allowing more oxygen and nourishment to reach the cells on the surface of the skin, and to tone your facial muscles. It’s a long-term technique to help you fight against ageing skin in a natural way. Face Yoga expert, and founder of Selfridge’s ‘Face Gym’ Inge Theron, recommends practicing your facial yoga routine for about 5 minutes both morning and night, and applying your skincare products afterwards, to encourage maximum absorption. The new Fillume range is available now from Boots (here) now, priced at £29.99 for the serum and £24.99 for the moisturiser, both 30ml. I’m also GIVING AWAY 30 of these products on Instagram this weekend – head over to my account @FleurDeForce to enter!
