I picked up Make Up For Ever’s Full Cover Concealer while I was in LA last week, on recommendation from my friend Ingrid. It claims to be full coverage, oil free, waterproof and ultra long-lasting. I thought this was the perfect concealer to try for the summer as I often find that my concealer doesn’t stay put in warmer weather.
This product comes in a squeezy tube with a very fine nozzle, making it easy to get the right amount that you need. It is very highly pigmented, so a little goes a long way. The coverage is fantastic, it feels like you’re simply erasing all your blemishes and imperfections.
Although it’s waterproof and oil free, the formula is creamy and smooth to apply. It doesn’t feel drying on my skin (which i was a little concerned about). It lasts a long time on the skin, as promised. Although it definitely doesn’t look perfect at the end of the day, with some areas a little faded, it looks pretty good! It’s definitely better than any other comparable concealer that I’ve tried.
It actually reminds me of my Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection concealer, only slightly less drying and with a little more coverage. Overall I’m very happy I bought this. I think it’s 100% worth the money (it’s a little expensive at $32!) as you need such a small amount, one tube will last you a very long time. They have a wide shade selection too, which is always a bonus. It does dry a little darker than it appears in the tube so make sure you try it out before you buy, or go for a shade lighter than you initially think. I picked up shade 7 which is the perfect match for me with a tan.
You can pick this up at Sephora in the US or online here in the UK (£22.50)
