Nailed: Butter London Disco Biscuit

In case you haven’t noticed, I’ve been obsessing over Butter London polishes for the past few weeks and as soon as I clapped eyes on this polish, it was on the top of my wish list.

I ordered it from thebeautybooth.com a few weeks ago but they actually sold it to me whilst it was not in stock (which I was not too happy about, but their customer service since has been fab, so no complaints there!).

It took two weeks to get to me, but it was definitely worth the wait… I’m in love!

The shade in question is Disco Biscuit, from their new spring collection. It’s a super bright fuschia with fine blue glitter. Although it’s almost neon in the bottle, the formulation is actually very sheer, with an almost jelly-like consistency and takes three thick coats to achieve opacity.

It looks really glossy on the nails, but the texture of the glitter shows through a little, giving it a really unusual finish.

I was a bit dissapointed by this at first but I’ve actually grown to really like the finish. It’s definitely different to any of my other polishes.

I think this is going to be a staple spring and summer colour for me. It’s definitely as gorgeous as I expected and the photos don’t really do it justice.

Butter London polishes can be hard to find, but I got mine for £12 at thebeautybooth.com

OK so this is the last nail post about Butter London for a while… I promise! 🙂
