Jo Malone London Blooms

If you read my blog on a regular basis, you’ll know I’m a huge fan of Jo Malone. I therefore couldn’t resist telling you all about their latest release for spring…

The London Blooms collection is a trio of new fragrances housed in the most beautiful floral print bottles with a cute aubergine-purple bow around the neck. The packaging is quite a departure from the super simple Jo Malone norm, but I think these are simply stunning and will make a beautiful addition to any dressing table (or a fantastic gift for any Jo Malone lover!)

As the name of the collection would suggest, the fragrances are all quite strongly floral. My favourite scent from the collection is White Lilac & Rubarb. It’s very unique, sophisticated and clean. I love the inclusion of the sharp, tart scent of rhubarb with the soft florals of lilac and rose. I’m not usually sold on strong florals so the contrast with rhubarb makes it wearable for me.

Peony & Moss is also a lovely scent. Peony is quite a distinctive floral but undoubtedly one of my favourites and I love that it has been paired with a more earthly sent of moss.

Iris and lady Moore is more of a spicy floral and on first spray I adored it, but it dries down into a rather sickly concoction that is just a little too floral for my tastes.

This collection is a floral-lovers dream and all of the scents are really rather unusual. They are limited edition and will be available from March. Sadly they are only producing them in 100ml sizes so they will set you back £72 each… ouch!
