I was lucky enough (and extremely flattered) to be one of a handful of lucky Bloggers/YouTubers to be invited to the launch of Juicy Couture’s latest fragrance ‘Peace, Love & Juicy Couture’ this week. The launch was integrated into Juicy’s celebrations for Vogue’s Fashion’s Night Out, held their flagship store on Bruton Street in Mayfair and hosted by Pixie Lott.
I had a wonderful time at the event. Champagne flowing and mini cupcake-lollipop in hand, I got to have a good old chin wag with my blogging friends Gemma, Sara, Jenny, Natalya and Milly. Sophie Ellis-Bextor was spinning some tunes as the in-store DJ, and we had a snap taken with Pixie herself! (Many thanks to Milly for the pic, who’s camera was deemed best for the shot!)
We were also able to sample the new fragrance. I’m a big fan of the previous fragrances from Juicy Couture so I had very high expectations of ‘Peace, Love & Juicy Couture’. The bottle is gorgeous, very similar to ‘Viva La Juicy’. The fragrance itself however, is somewhat of a departure for the brand. It isn’t their usual sugary-sweet scent, but a much more floral, fresh perfume (perfect for this time of year, to pick you up from the end-of-summer blues!)
It lasts on the skin well and certainly makes a beautiful addition to any dressing table. If you’re on the market for a new scent, this is definitely worth a sniff! You can pick it up online here.
