Spring Sneak Peak: Dior Cherie Bow Collection

Although the Holiday beauty collections are still glittering away on the counters, it’s surprisingly soon until the Spring goodies arrive in stores, and this upcoming collection from Dior has to be one of the prettiest I’ve seen in a while. MAC’s Holiday collection was bow-themed, and it seems that Dior are hot on their coattails with their Cherie Bow collection.

The images from the collection are simply stunning, and the products themselves are lovely, all themed around rosy pinks and nudes. The stand out piece from the collection has got to be the Cherie Bow Palette. I was luck enough to get one of the shades to photograph this week and it’s even more gorgeous in real life.

As usual with the Dior palettes, it is going to break the bank! At £59 for three eyeshadows, an eyeliner and a lipgloss it’s super expensive, but you have to admit it’s one of the prettiest beauty offerings out there…

I have a feeling that this palette may well steal the show, but the collection itself is actually pretty huge! There are two shades of 5 Colour Palettes (Rose Ballerine & Rose Charmeuse) – They also have a three colour eyeshadow palette which I don’t have a picture of, entitled ‘Smokey Rose’

Three shades of Le Vernis nail colour (Tutu, Rosy Bow & Gris Trianon)

Four variants of their new double ended eyeshadow pencil ‘Twin Set’s (Ballerina Pink, Beige Ribbon, Fishnet Black & Grey Sigh)

They’ve also expanded their collection of ‘Glow’ products (following on from the Rosy Glow blush and Lip Glow Balm last summer) to include the Lip Glow lipgloss and Nail Glow polish, which are designed to enhance your natural lips and nails.

There are two new shades of blush: Tender Coral & Pink Happiness

And last but not least, their new DiorSkin Nude BB Creme (available in three shades)

I’m really impressed by the visual appeal of this collection, but I think the prices may put a lot of people off. Eitherway I think it is one to look out for when it hits counters in January!

The collection will be released on 4th January into Selfridges and 18th January nation wide.

What do you think of this collection, does anything catch your eye?
