I’ve had this foundation for a few weeks now and I after a thorough road-testing, I thought it deserved a full review, as it seems to have been a little overlooked in the blogging world…
There is quite a lot of love going around for Rimmel’s ‘Wake Me Up’ Foundation (Which I must admit, I do really like) but after trying this one out, I think I actually prefer it!
Match perfection is designed to adapt to your skin tone, so that you get a great colour match, and it looks very natural.
It applies very much like your bog-standard liquid foundation, but I really love the finish that it gives: a medium coverage, natural satin-finish. It’s not too ‘glowy’, not too matte. To me it’s the perfect middle ground.
The staying power, which I find is often the downfall of cheaper foundations, is pretty good. this lasted about 6 hours on me without need for a touch-up.
1. No Makeup
2. Just Rimmel Match Perfection foundation
3. And the rest!
Overall, I think if you’re looking for a really nice drugstore foundation that ticks all the boxes, this might be for you. It’s not better than my high end favourites, but it’s certainly better than quite a lot of the high end choices out there. I was thoroughly impressed!
